CTET qualified candidates can also apply in upcoming Primary teacher vacancy in UP. Uttar Pradesh government yesterday takes a very important decision on the UP Cabinet Meeting 28 august 2012. Now Government of Uttar Pradesh change the up primary teacher service rule 1981. after the amendment now ctet qualified candidate would be also to be a teacher in Primary teacher. However CBSE already said that any state government can use CTET certificate as a screening test if they don’t conduct TET exam in their states.

After that Uttar Pradesh government conducted 1st teacher eligibility test on November 2011. Most of CTET qualified candidate was in confusion that will government consider CTET certificate or they only consider UPTET certificate. But after the amendment in  DHARA 8 ADHYAPAK SEVA NIYAMAWALI 1981 everything is clear for upcoming Primary teacher vacancy. These amended news in  Basic Shiksha Parishad Adhyapak Seva Niyamawali   published in the news paper of 29 august 2012. Now UPTET will be only a screening test not a base of recruitment of Teacher in Primary school. Recruitment process will be done on the basis of academic merit of High School Intermediate and graduation marks.

By the decision of UP Cabinet Meeting most of TET qualified high merit candidates will be disappointed.
