Union public service commission now published the advertisement (No.F. 2/6/2012 – E. I (B))IES (Indian engineering Service Examination) for the recruitment of various engineer post in various department. UPSC IES notification has been published in employment news of 6 to 12 April 2013 . last date of application form submission is 6 may 2013. A combined all Indian level entrance exam will be held for the selecting of the eligible candidates. A written exam will be conducted 28 June 2013 at various center of all over India.

Category 2 : Mechanical engineering
Category3 : Electrical Engineering
Category 4 : Electrical and telecommunication Engineering
Approximate no of vacancy: 763 including 19 PH candidates.

Eligibility criteria: age limit : minimum 21 year and maximum 30 year as on 1 January 213 .

Application form fee: candidates would be require to pay rs 200 . for sc/st / female and PH candidates there are no application form fee
Selection procedure : selection for IES post will be based on written exam and interview test.
