Human Resource Development (MHRD) / Council of scientific and industrial research (CSIR) and ugc jointly conduct UGC net exam for various science subjects. CSIR and UGC conducts UGC net exam twice in a year. 1st exam basically conducted in the month of June and 2nd exam is conducted in the month of December 2012. csir hrdg will hold a common written exam on 23 December 2012.

All qualified aspirant of csir hrdg net dec will be awarded of JRF (NET) and they will receive fellowship either from CSIR or UGC as per their assignment or from the Schemes with which they may find association. Joint CSIRUGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship- National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR twice in a year. Minimum eligibility criteria for for receiving JRF is 55% marks for sc/st/phvh its is 50%.

1. Chemical Sciences 2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences 3. Life Sciences 4. Mathematical Sciences 5. Physical Sciences 6. Engineering Sciences
Csir ugc net exam was conducted in 25 center of all over India. in morning session from 9 am to 12 noon 3 subjects Life Sciences , Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences exam was conducted and in evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm Chemical Sciences Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences Engineering Sciences exam was conducted. Each question paper will carry 200 marks. of 3 hours.
