This system of Common Written Examination (Bank PO exam) for recruitment of Probationary Officers / Management Trainees has been permitted by the Government of India. IBPS, an independent body, has been certified by IBA and has received a permission From the 19 Public Sector Banks.

In written examination of IBPS Bank Po 2012 following subject consists … Reasoning , English Language ,Quantitative Aptitude , General Awareness, (with special reference to Banking Industry), Computer Knowledge, Descriptive Paper on English Composition Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc.
