Recently 17 Railway recruitment board conducted a common written examination for the recruitment of 600 posts. RRB conducted this test for the recruitment of various post like assistant station master, traffic station, clerk etc. this is the one of the largest vacancy published by various railway recruitment board of various regions after Group D vacancy. Recently some official said that Result of Assistant station master post (ASM) and TA / SA post will be out before March 2013.
Railway will recruit 1.25 lakh employees before March 2013. Their are around 2.5 lakh posts in railway are vacant. Railway decided to fill 1.25 lakh vacancies out of 2.5 lakh post before the closing of March. For that purpose railway recruitment board started the procedure. For achieving that target recently railway board conducted written exam on 2 December 2012. Due to huge no of vacancy railway will also conduct a test on 9 December 2012 at various centers.
Railway board said they will conduct few more examination in the month of December 2012 and January 2013. After that they will fulfill all the procedure in the month of February 2013. That’s why they will declare all pending result without any delay.

Some official said there are more then 15 thousands seats are vacancy in north and North east railway. Around two thousand post of group C are vacant in Lucknow zone. Some news paper also publishes news and said that RRB Gorakhpur will conduct few more examination in upcoming months in various phases and they will declare railway exam results any how before the march 2013. North railway will also conduct more exams in New Year. For that point of view all 17 RRb (Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar , Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, ,Guwahati Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Patna, ,Ranchi ,Secunderabad Siliguri, Thiruvananthapuram,) started the recruitment process.
