West Bengal police recently published the recruitment notification for the post of sub inspector wb plice Un armed, and lady sub inspector un armed in west Bengal. Salary of WB police SI will be will be Pay Scale Rs. 7,100-37,600/- (i.e. Pay Band-3) + Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- plus other admissible allowances.

Eligibility criteria: all Indian citizen of 20 year to 27 yeas age limit as on 1 January 2013 can apply for sub inspector recruitment 2013. 5 year relaxation will be permission to sc and st candidates.
Education qualification: graduation degree from any recognized university

Physical stander for SI post as are follows
Male: Height-1.67 m, Weight- 51.5 Kgs, Chest- 79 cms with a minimum expansion, of 5 cms. , Vision-According to Health Manual.
Female : Height-1.60 mtrs. Weight- 45 Kgs Vision-According to Health Manual

Selection procedure: selection of SI post will be totally will be based on the preliminary examination . Written exam will be comprising subject of general study, arithmetic etc. question paper will carry 200 mars for 100 questions. Total 90 minuts will be given for question paper solving

After that a final examination will be conducted for all qualified candidates in pre exam of SI. For SI final exam question paper pattern as are follows
Paper 1 : GS , arithmetic 100 marks  , 120 minutes
Paper 2 : English 50 marks . 60 minuet
Paper 3 : Bengali / Hindi / Urdu  /nepali 50 marks , 60 minutes

After that an interview exam will be hold of 30 marks.

Application form fee: rs 150 on form of A/C payee Demand Draft (payable at Kolkata) from any Nationalized Bank or IPO
(Payable at GPO Kolkata)

How to apply: all eligible candidates can apply for SI vacancy in a prescribed application form format which will be available from the office of superintended of police of all district and the office commissioned of police.

Application form will be available from 20 march 2013. Last date of application form submission is 17 April 2013.

SSC Delhi Police SI Question Paper Analysis written exam 24 may 2015 (Sunday) /
In Delhi police sub inspector exam, their was two papers of 400 marks (200 marks each). Paper 1 was General paper in which comprise 4 subjects General Intelligence and Reasoning,  General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension,. Paper I was conducted in morning session from 10 am to 12 noon.
SSC Delhi Police Sub Inspector exam paper 2 was conducted for the checking ability of candidate’s English language & Comprehension. Total 200 marks allotted for this paper.  SSC SI paper II was conducted in Noon Session.


SI written exam Questions paper   was Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions were   set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I. In case of discrepancy, the English version will prevail.  Deduction of 0.25 marks made for each incorrect answer marked on OMR Answer Sheet.
