Pattern for Upsc Mains examination 2013 now going to be changed from this year. Prime minister of India given their green signal on recommendation suggested by an organized committee which was made for amendment in civil service examination. According to new pattern now general study subject will get more importance in pre and mains examination of IAS /IPS and IFS examination. Secretary of training department now said that notification regarding new changes and amendment for upcoming civil service examination will be published soon. Currently in main examination there are two papers of general study which carry 300 marks each paper. General study paper comprises option and compulsory subject. After revising syllabus and pattern, both paper of general study will get more importance.

UPSC also has given their approval on new changes in IAS examination. After amendment in format of current civil service examination new pattern will be more useful for candidates as per as concern of current comparative environment. Format of upcoming mains examination will be available shortly and published with amendment notification.
