ARMY School TGT PGT PRT Teacher APS Recruitment

Army schools affiliate to CBSE board. Selection Procedure for Army Teacher in army Public Schools is fair, Transparent and merit based.

There are total three category of post in Army schools. 1st is known as PGT teacher (post Graduate teacher) , TGT (Trade Graduate Teacher ) and PRT (primary Teacher) . Mostly TGT and PGT teacher advertised for English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Geography, Economic, political science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, biotech, psychology, commerce, computer science, informatics, home science and physical education subjects.
Recruitment notification every year published for all army school jointly by Army Welfare education Society which is also refer as AWES  India or Aweshq society. After the written exam all qualified candidates will be awarded AWES score card.

Selection procedure: Selection processes comprise 4 stages.
Stage 1. Application form Submission
Stage 2. Written Exam or CSB written test
Stage 3. Interviews test
Stage 4 Evaluation of Teaching Skills.

Eligibility and requirement:
minimum 50 % marks in post graduate and 50% marks in TGT and PRT teacher /

AWES combined Screening Board CSB written Test Details
Usually this exam conducted in the month of December 1st week. Their will be a common paper A for TGT / PGT and Prt post. Question of this Paper A will be based on the General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology. Questions will be objective type nature. Total 90 minute will given for this paper. This paper will carry 80 marks for PGT and TGT teacher and 200 marks for PRT teacher.
Paper B will be conducted only for PGT and TGT teacher. Question will be based on specific subject. Total 2 hour will given for this paper. Paper B will carry total 120 marks (90 mark for OM 30 marks for descriptive question, )

Qualifying marks / cutoff Marks: all candidates are require to score minimum 50 % marks in Paper A out of 200 marks.  Cutoff marks for Paper B will be 50% marks. AWES score card usually issued in the last week of February of every year. You can collect you AWES score card from your School where you appeared for written test.

After written test, all qualified candidates will call for and interview test . AWES score card would be valid for 3 year. By using this score card you can participate interview test of any Army public school of all over India.

Important Tentative dates :

Written exam date : 1st week of December
Results: end of February

Interview: March
