Eligibility criteria: for group 4 service minimum age limit is 18 year. for SC/ST/ Trained candidates in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu max age is 35 year . for other candidate minimum age limit is 30 year . for OBC candidate max age is 32 year.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION for TNPSC Group 4
Applicant must acquire the following or its equivalent qualification:
Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed
S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher
Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the Written Examination, number of
vacancies and post/Unit option exercised by the candidates following rule of reservation of appointments.
Technical qualification for typist post is qualified government technical examination in typewriting and for steno typist grade 3 technical qualifications is typewriting and short hand typing.
Written examination will comprise a single question paper of 300 marks. In group 4 written examination question will be related from general knowledge of SSLC stander and general Tamil, General English of SSLC stander . Total time for completing this exam will be given 3 hour only. Minimum qualifying marks / minimum cutoff marks for this paper is 90 no . Group 1 question paper will composed in two following manners, 1st type of question paper will comprise of General knowledge and general English. And 2nd type of question will comprise general knowledge and Tamil language. Candidates have an option to select either general time or general English for answering. General English question will be in English language and Tamil languages question will be asked in Tamil language
Examination fee: rs 125 age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidate.
