SSC Department Examination Recruitment Lower Division Grade Group c 2015

Staff selection commission (ssc) published the recruitment notification for the recruitment of lower division grade limited department competitive examination 2015. Advertisement (File No10/4/2012-P&P-II) was published employment t news rozgar samchar of 17 January 2015 . ssc departmental examination for lower division grade Group C staff will be conducted on 05 April 2015 Sunday. last date of application form submission 16 February 2015 . Selected candidates will be appointed in following department
(i)    Central Secretariat Clerical Service
(ii)    (ii) Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service
(iii)    (iii) Grade VI of the I.F.S. Branch „B‟ Clerical Service 
(iv)    (iv) Central Vigilance Commission Clerical Service. (CVC)

Exam Center  :
 New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Allahabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati Chandigarh and Raipur

Eligibility criteria: intermediates / class 12 pas as on 1st January 2015
Age limit :  max age 45 year as on 1st January 2013 . relaxation in age will be given for sc/st candidates

Pattern/ Syllabus for SSC Group C departmental Examination 2015
Paper 1 : Subject :   Short Essay (Hindi or English)  Max marks 10
Time duration : 90 minute , 10 am to 11:30 am

Paper 2 :
(a)    Language (General English or Saamanye Hindi)  (50 questions)- 50 marks

(b) General Knowledge (English or Hindi)

(b)    (50 questions)-50 marks
(c)    Max marks : 100
(d)    Total Time  : 2 hours , Exam time : 1 pm to 3 pm

SSC Department examination 2013 syllabus
PAPER-I : SHORT ESSAY
One Essay of 400-500 words to be written on any of the several specified subjects.

Paper-II
(a) LANGUAGE (General English or Saamanye Hindi)
(50 Questions)- 50 marks.
Candidate will be tested in simple composition, Applied Grammar and Elementary Tabulation to test the art of compiling, arranging and presenting data in tabular form.

(b) General Knowledge (50 Questions) -50 Marks.
 Knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will include question on Geography of India also.
