Postal Assistant Aptitude Test with a total 100 marks covering the following subjects/topics. Aptitude Test (Paper-I) will be consist following four parts (A/B/C/D). The total duration of the Aptitude Test will be 2 hrs (120 Minutes). There is no negative marking.
Part A        General Knowledge,    
Part B        mathematics of matriculation standard
Part C         English covering grammar
Part D        Reasoning and analytical Ability


Part "C" 25 Questions on English covering grammar (prepositions, adverbs, conjunction, direct/ indirect speech, singular & plural, tenses, and antonyms/synonyms etc –
Total 25 Marks for English Section

Important Topics English section Preparation:

Preposition:  a preposition is a word place before a noun or a pronoun to show in what relation the person or thing denoted by it stand in regard to something else.
Example: there is cow in the field.
He is fond of tea.
The cat jumped off the chair.
Here In, of, off are preposition. And these proposition are used on the basis of above definition

Adverb : an adverb is a word which modified the meaning a verb, and adjective or another adverb.
Example: rama runs quickly.
This a very sweet mango
Govind read quite clearly
Quickly, very, quite are adverb on above sentence.

Conjuction : a conjunction is a word which merely joins together sentence and sometime words
Example: god made the country and man made the town.
Our hoard is little, but our hear are greats.
She must weep or she will die
Two and two make four.
And, But, or , are  conjunction on above sentences.

Direct Indirect :
We may report the word of speaker in two ways
(i)    we may quote actual words. This is called direct speech.
(ii)   we may report what he said without quoting his exact words. This Is called indirect or reported speech
Example: Direct:  rama said.”I m very busy now”.
Indirect speech: rama said that he was very busy then.
