Uttar Prdesh Government Now decided to conduct a common entrance Examination for the admission of P.hd courses in various State universities. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (rmlau Lucknow) published a notification / advertisement for UP PHD CET 2012. Appearing student of Post graduation can also apply for Phd CET 2012
State Level Phd Entrance examination Schedule: 29 April 2012
Examination Centers: 12 District of UP Agra Allahabad Bareilly Faizabad Gorakhpur Jaunpur Jhansi Kanpur Lucknow Meerut Varanasi Noida
Application form Selling will be start from: 25 February 2012
Last Date for Filling Application form is: 20 march
Examination Timing: there will be two session Morning session examination will be start from 8am to 10 am, and 12 pm to 3 pm
Question Paper Pattern / Structure/ Scheme of Examination / Syllabus of Phd CET
There will be two papers in this examination
Paper I consist 100 Mcq base on Research aptitude and general Awareness questions
Total marks of: 100 times: 2 hour
Paper II : this paper will be consist 200 multiple type of questions based on subject awareness
Total Marks: 200 Time: 3 hour
Available Subject List for Optional Subject Paper II : 37 subject
Admit Cards / Hall Ticket: will be dispatched before the examination Provisional / duplicate admit card will be also available on: www.rmlau.ac.in
Qualifying Marks: 40% marks in every Paper and Total 50%
5% reduction for SC/ST
Negative Marking: no negative marking
Validity of Eligibility Certificate two years,
Syllabus : Syllabus of PHD CET will be UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET-JRF Examinations
Applciaiton Form Fee: Rs. 800 Gen and Rs. 400 for sc/st
Eligibility Criteria and Education qualification: Post Graduation with 55% marks
