National law university NLU Delhi held an all India level law entrance test (ALIET) for the admission in B.A.LL.B. (HONS.) Program 2013. NLU Delhi AILET 2013 entrance exam was held on 28 April 2013 at various centers from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. This university of Law Established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of NCT of Delhi) Sector - 14, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110 078.
NLU AILET entrance exam was held Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida and Patna cities.
Question of Ailet exam was asked from various subjects. Ailet will carry total 150 marks for total 150 questions.
Question paper Analysis
Over all if you look at AILET Question Paper of 2013 then your will found general awareness and Mathematics section was difficult in comparison to previous year ailet question paper. Mostly student faces problem in these two sections. So you can say both section will be play vital role in deciding the cutoff marks for ailet merit / rank. Those candidates who performed well in these two sections as well other section definitely he will get good rank. Manage of 90 minute time duration was also a big task in front of student you have to given only 90 minutes for 150 questions.
Questions of English was easy . 7 comprehension passage was asked of 700 word for solving. Questions of English section mostly related from antonym, synonym and comprehension type questions. Question was enough lengthy. So you can expect 25 to 30 marks out of 50 marks of this section
Legal aptitude : those student who prepare well of law of tort , vicarious liability, Strict Liability and Negligence, Law of Crimes including theft, abetment and criminal conspiracy, Constitutional Law and other reasoning questions definitely score good marks in this sections. This section was only easy for those student who prepared LAW seriously for Ailet exam. If you prepared good then you can expect up 30 marks out of 50 marks . Other wise you can only expect 10 to 15 marks on the questions related to reasoning and knowledge based questions.
General Awareness Questions: over all this section was tough for all students. So according to my assumption you can only expected 20 to 24 marks for this section
Mathematics section: questions was related to simple arithmetic. So mathematics background student will get benefit in this section so you can expect up to 25 marks in this section
Reasoning section : questions of was easy of reasoning so you can expect upto 25 marks in this section
Expected Cutoff marks : after adding expected marks section wise , we can analysis about what will be expected cut marks for this . I think 99 to 110 marks will be safe for ailet entrance exam.
Over all you have to require minimum 40% marks for qualifying this examination . Cutoff marks for SC/St candidates is 30%.
