      Delete
    3. however the criteria for preparing final result will be decicded by ugc itself.this is quite clear that getting qualifying marks doesn't mean that you are eligible for lecturership.will there be any cut off,if yes do u have any guess?when the result is going to be declared?

    4. i think if u get munimum cut off in all three papers ul be qualified for net otherwise whats the meaning of having minimum cut off marks?for jrf,it may be based on merit of course.ugc says we need to get munimum required marks in all three papers to clear this exam

      Delete
    5. no i dont agee with u because it has already made clear by ugc in its notification, the final decision for preparing result will be decided by itself .however all those who secure minimum marks in all three paper will be considered for prepring result.certainlty there will be cut off but how much is not known to anybody besides ugc

      Delete
    6. getting minimum required cut off in all three papers and not qualified for net is as good as not getting minimum required marks.geting minimum required marks makes no sense unless it qualifies us as passed or cleared net.

    7. If it happens then lot of candidates will qualify it.I have gone through the result of dec 2011 in which 3000+ have qualifide for jrf and 10000+ for lectureship. my one of friend from science background have cleared it.As per his information, all those who get min required marks will declare qualify for net but there will be merit for JRF. May ur & my FRIEND words come true. Lets hope for the best

    8. Only such candidates who obtain the minimum required marks in each Paper, separately, as mentioned , will be considered for final preparation of result.

However, the final qualifying criteria for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship shall be decided by UGC before declaration of result.

    9. considering the fact that ugc has increased 5 percent(im not sure if this 5 pc increment is only for 3rd paper or for all the three)but they surely have increased 5% for everyone just before the exam i bet ugc will not let us get minimum required marks only to shatter our hopes.

In paper-III, all the Electives(Theory Of Computation/UNIX/LPP/Neural Network/DSP) are being made compulsory.

Earlier we used to choose any one from among the five Electives in Section-II

And this is done WITHOUT any NOTIFICATION.

    This is really frustrating.
